Opera Beds

The brief.

Opera sells adjustable beds, profiling care beds, rotating chair beds, and riser recliners into both private homes and healthcare settings. It is a high-consideration category: products run from a few hundred pounds to the high thousands, buyers are often choosing around a specific health need, and the decision usually involves a consultation rather than an impulse add to cart. That shaped the custom tooling. I built the interactive Bed Selector, a guided product finder that walks a customer from their situation to an appropriate product, and a finance calculator that surfaces monthly payment options at the point where the price would otherwise stop the conversation. The rest of the work covers app and API integrations plus ongoing theme development, holding together a business that sells direct to consumer, on contract to care homes, and through retailer partnerships at the same time.
